Exhibition Featuring the Collection of the Ruskin & Morris Center of Osaka
Ruskin Alive<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

John Ruskin was not only an artist and art critic, but also a social reformer. This exhibition aims to reveal Ruskin\u2019s life and thoughts, his aesthetic vision, his social involvement, and his efforts to protect the environment, using the collection of the Ruskin & Morris Center of Osaka. The exhibition also highlights the influence and legacy of Ruskin\u2019s ideas on social and educational activities, focusing on the projects of the Guild of St George in the UK and the initiatives of studio-L in Japan. The Ruskin & Morris Center of Osaka was founded by Norio Tsuyuki as private archives in 2006 and became a general incorporated foundation in 2019. Now it is about to be re-launched as a facility open to members of the public in collaboration with studio-L. By attempting to embody Ruskin\u2019s ideals, the exhibition will shed light on the relevance of Ruskin to our lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
